28 December 2008 Viol Lessons and Viol Clinics - Early Music Shop Showroom, Salts Mill
The success of the Viola Da Gamba teaching sessions at Salts Mill has encouraged us to increase the number of dates for 2009. Jacqui Roberston-Wade will be giving viol lessons to students at any level, and offering instrument demonstrations and customer consultations. All are welcome!

The Early Music Shop and London Recorder Centre can now offer the Take it away scheme..! Take it away is a new Arts Council England initiative created to help people get involved in learning and playing music. The scheme allows people to apply from £100 up to £2,000 interest free credit for the purchase of any kind of musical instrument, and pay it back in 9 monthly instalments (plus a minimum 10% deposit).

The Early Music Shop is delighted to announce it has been appointed the exclusive UK agent for Bizzi Harpsichords of Italy. The Early Music Shop showroom at Salts Mill now houses a number of Guido Bizzi's instruments including an Italian harpsichord after Giusti, a French single manual harpsichord after 'Blanchet', a French double manual harpsichord after Goermans-Taskin, a 'Continuo' Italian harpsichord, a 'Studio' harpsichord and a Bentside spinet 'Goujon 1753'.
