Yamaha’s range of wooden recorders have a strong, open sound suitable for the most demanding of baroque and contemporary music. Their soprano and alto instruments are available in boxwood, rosewood, kingwood or ebony with a low pitch Denner alto in boxwood also being made. Their bass and great bass are available in attractive stained maple and especially noteworthy is their f bass which is available either at a=440 or as a combination instrument at a=440 and a=415.
